Special Education Teacher and Related Services Communities of Practice launch for the 2021-2022 School Year

The RESC Alliance and the CSDE Bureau of Special Education continue to partner in offering Communities of Practice (CoP) for the 2021-2022 school year. In addition to the individual CoPs for Speech & Language Pathologists, BCBAs, Social Workers, School-Based Occupational Therapists, School-Based Physical Therapists, School Psychologists, Teachers of the Deaf, and Assistive Technology Specialists, we have added CoPs for Early Childhood Special Education Teachers, Elementary Special Education Teachers, Middle School Special Education Teachers and High School Special Education Teachers.

These CoPs are designed to be a virtual gathering place for practitioners in each area to collaborate, exchange ideas, focus on evidence-based practice and build collective capacity to support students in Connecticut schools. An excellent resource for education personnel, if you are currently at work in one of these areas in the field, we encourage you to consider reaching out to the contact email for your CoP on the flyer below and become a part of that community of practice!
