Structured Literacy Program Training Series Professional Learning Opportunity – Orton-Gillingham Introductory Training

The Connecticut State Department of Education, in collaboration with the State Education Resource Center (SERC), is sponsoring a training series featuring structured literacy approaches. These research-based approaches are designed to work with students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD)/Dyslexia and other decoding challenges. The first professional learning opportunity offered VIRTUALLY in this series is the Orton-Gillingham Introductory Training*.

*This 30-hour virtual training will be held on 10 separate days, in three-hour sessions, on each of the following days: Tuesday, November 10, Thursday, November 12, Friday, November 13, Wednesday, November 18, Thursday, November 19, Friday, November 20, Wednesday, December 2, Thursday, December 3, Wednesday, December 9, and Thursday, December 10, 2020.
